Recognized as the "Pumpkin Capital of the World," the city of Half Moon Bay will commemorate the season with festivities for travelers and locals alike. From fields bursting with color, to the annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, Pumpkin Season immerses visitors in the rich fall harvest of the coastal community.
The picturesque coastal town of Half Moon Bay, beckons visitors to experience the enchanting autumn season firsthand. During fall, Half Moon Bay is renowned for landscapes that transform into a stunning spectacle with rolling fields of orange, scarecrows, barns, and pick-your-own pumpkin patches. The season's crown jewel, the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, attracts visitors from far and wide to historic Main Street for an unforgettable celebration of the harvest. The 2024 festival will be held on October 19-20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering free admission to all.
At The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay’s signature restaurants, The Conservatory and Forbes Four-Star Navio, visitors are invited to enjoy special harvest-inspired dishes and cocktails crafted with local, seasonal ingredients. The menus will feature a savory pumpkin bisque, decadent pumpkin mousse cake, and more seasonal culinary delights. Navio Seasonal Offerings (Oct –Nov) • During Weekend Brunch at Navio, guests will have the option to enjoy seasonal Pumpkin Soup as well as themed desserts for Brunch & Dinner. The Conservatory Fall Menu (Sept–Thanksgiving) • New this fall, The Conservatory will be launching a new seasonal menu & themed desserts with a nod to the region’s bounty during Pumpkin Season.
Harvest Cocktails in The Library (Oct–Nov) • Embrace the crisp autumn season with signature libations highlighting the local harvest. Delight in refreshing, pumpkin-inspired beverages and traditional offerings with a seasonal twist. The Harvest Cocktails can be enjoyed amidst ocean views at The Conservatory Bar, and in the warm, cozy atmosphere of The Library. Walk-ins are welcome.

Seasonal Spa Treatment (Sept–Nov) • In honor of Pumpkin Season, The Ritz-Carlton Spa is introducing the “Spirit of the Season Facial.” This 80-minute treatment in the resort’s newly renovated spa will have guests feeling cleansed and renewed with an experiential facial highlighting the season's finest organic ingredients. Thoughtfully selected products complement one another to create a sense of the season and bring balance to both skin and spirit ($365pp).
